SELOUS GAME RESERVE:

Situated in Southern Tanzania, is Africa s largest unspoilt game reserve. Around 50,000 square kilometres it holds some of the largest population of elephants as well as other game species. The reserve contains some of the finest virgin bush left in Africa.

THE NGORONGORO CRATER :
|
Popularly known as the eight wonder of the world, Ngorongoro covers an area of 259 square kilometres with 610-meter high walls making it the largest intact crater in the world. It is the only park where one can easily spot most endangered species, the rhino and other animal kingdom.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK:
|
It remains to be the largest national park in Tanzania, occupying over 14,000 square kilometres. The park boasts of the highest wildlife concentration in Africa, infact, it is the only place where one can spot the "big fives".

RUAHA NATIONAL PARK:
|
Tanzania s second largest National Park is still relatively unknown, making it ideal for those seeking the trails less-travelled and wildlife less-visited. The miombo woodland and characteristic sand rivers of Ruaha supports a unique range of wildlife, borne of the park s location at the cusp of eastern and southern species.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK:

The Classic Africa of giant Baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland, populated by huge herds of elephant and a dry season population second only to Ngorongoro in numbers.

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK:
|
Hemingway s Rift Valley Oasis, this small packet of riverine forest, nestled at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment is home to an astonishing biomass of tropical birds, monkeys and classic African Big Five Game. Canoeing on the lake, village walks and mountain biking all add dynamic elements to the safari oppurtunities.

MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK:

It borders the vast Selous game reserve and popular amongst Tanzania s National Parks. The accesible portion of 47,000 square kilometres out of the 75,000 square kilometres the park covers, wildness stretches almost to the shores of the Indian Ocean. The woodland area is where lions favour, sometimes lying high in the trees to keep their feet dry during the wet season. Other species of wildlife - hippo, giraffe, hartebeeest, Zebra, wildebeest are abound. Migrant birds of over 300 species from Europe seek refuge in the park Lake Manyara National Park: Just south of the mighty Rift Valley wall covers an area of 322 square kilometres. Besides having abundant wildlife and birdlife, the park is famous for its tree-climbing lions on the branches af acacia treee, three to seven meters above the ground.

MT. KILIMANRARO:
|
At 5896 metres, the highest mountain in Africa dominates the skyline of Tanzania, so as to say attracting trekkers and climbers from every part of the world. It lies just three degrees south of the equator - Kibo and Mawenzi havingcaps of snow and ice.
